Moody and dark with sensual aromatics of dark chocolate, black cherries mingling with musk, and spicy star anise greet the nose. The palate is surprisingly fresh and lively with complex notes of fresh strawberries, red cherries, spicy cayenne, with earthy birch and a wet-woodsy character.
The estate Syrah grapes in our Methode Ancienne, or “Ancient Methode” wine are stomped by foot each vintage by our winemaker and naturally fermented with native yeast.
